Photogravure combines classic printmaking techniques with modern processes—it starts with a digital image, which is used to create an intaglio-style plate, then inked and printed by hand.

The images I use are found in the built environment of Minneapolis, or close by. My intent is to show that we always live in close contact with nature, even in large cities, and beauty is always waiting for a closer look.
